JUNIOR RANKINGS

Click here to view rankings . The Idaho District Blue Ribbon Ranking Taskforce revised the current Points Per Round Ranking System at Committee meetings in early 2008.

For Juniors, like before, this system will highlight and premiere the Idaho Junior Tournaments as well as participation at the Sectional and National levels. New for 2008, the Point Table levels have been altered for results from all Intermountain Sectional and Circuit junior tournaments and all USTA National Tournaments listed on the National Junior Tournament Schedule to recognize the higher level of competition at those events. Also new for 2008, points earned at USTA Team Events (Zone Team Championships, BG18’s Team Championships, and Intersectionals) have been increased.

Idaho will only use your top four tournament results toward your Singles Standings and Ranking, and will only use your top three tournament results toward your Doubles Standings and Ranking. Like Intermountain, points earned in higher age divisions will count down toward a player's standing in one or more younger age divisions in addition to the higher age division. Aging up to a new age division requires careful planning. Players aging up may want to begin competing in the next higher age division three to six months before actually aging up. Lastly, the Idaho District will be using Bonus Points for wins over district players ranked No. 1 through No. 64.
