LEAGUE PLAYERS NOW ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE AT MORE THAN TWO LEVELS

The Idaho Adult Recreation and Competition Committee (ARCC) has reviewed a USTA league policy and clarified the language for league play in Idaho in 2012.

In combined rating doubles leagues: "A player may play on more than two teams provided the teams are at different NTRP levels." For example, a 4.0 player can play USTA Mixed Doubles 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 if that player competes with a 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 player respectively (4.0+3.0=7.0, 4.0+4.0=8.0, 4.0+5.0=9.0). Doubles teams must be within 1.0 NTRP level apart to compete together.
