Captains, please take note and share the following information with your teammates:

1) Mandatory Captains' meeting
Captains must attend a meeting prior to their first scheduled match.  Captains’ meetings will be held at the Juniper Hills Country Club (tennis complex) on Friday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. To accommodate those teams who begin play on Saturday, a final meeting will be held at 7 a.m. on Saturday.

2) Bring water
It will be very hot on court and we are playing the best of three regular sets. You are responsible for bringing your own drinks to the courts.

3) Court sites
Your team will be rotated, in some fashion, among the following sites:
                        ● Juniper Hills Country Club
                        ● Century High School
                        ● Pocatello High School
As a part of the agreement with the Juniper Hills Country Club, each team will play at least one match at the club. If you are not familiar with the location of courts listed above, please obtain a map online.

4) Schedule of play
The Adult and Recreation Committee, based on player feedback citing the desire to play more tennis, has determined the play format per division.  Play will begin Friday at noon and end Sunday afternoon.  Please review and share the attached schedule with your team. All teams are expected to play all matches as scheduled for the entire weekend. No special requests for schedule changes will be considered.

5) Eligibility
To be eligible to compete in the Senior League District Championships, each player on your roster must have played in at least two (2) local league matches.  One default may count towards this match total.  Also, each player must have a valid USTA membership through August 29, 2010. Be sure to review your rosters and inform any of your ineligible players BEFORE the championships begin. We do not want to have one of your players make the journey only to be told that they are ineligible for district championship match play.

7) Hotels
For out of town players, the tournament hotel sponsor is the Holiday Inn.

Download hotel information HERE.

8) Team check in
As a team, you are to check in at your scheduled court site 30 minutes prior to your match time with all players present and ready to play. As soon as both team line-ups are turned in to the desk, the site director will begin calling the matches when the courts become available.

9) Standings
Team standings will be updated and posted at the end of each day at the tournament headquarters (Juniper Hills Country Club). You can also check online on www.tennislink.usta.com. Go to Championship Advanced Search.

10) No warm up at the championship court sites
Teams are not allowed to warm up at the court site prior to their matches. If you wish to warm up, please find a park or other non-tournament court site.
