Hopefully, many of you have already received this email from USTA National and Bob Clifford, our District League Coordinator. We want to ensure you're up to date on our local adjustments throughout the COVID-19 changes.
The Idaho Tennis Association is committed to completing the local Treasure Valley league for USTA Mixed 18 & Over, as soon as we are cleared to play by the governing authorities. We plan to run this league for 6 weeks from June 01 through July 10, with matches starting at 6pm. 6.0 and 8.0 will be scheduled on Mondays & Wednesdays, while 7.0 and 9.0 will be scheduled on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Your captains will be made aware of when the revised schedule comes out.
During USTA Mixed 18 & Over, we will complete registration for the USTA Adult 40 & Over league and play will run from July 13 - August 14.
USTA Adult 18's and 55 & OVER are TBD, at this point.
ITA Mixed is set for August 17 - September 25 with districts being held in Boise on October 2 - 4. For further information on leagues, league dates, etc...please see our league calendar.
Our focus for the remainder of this 2020 season is to give you as many local league opportunities as possible, while providing competitive, fun matches along with the social aspect that makes USTA league tennis so important.
For Pocatello and Idaho Falls, the Area League Coordinators will send out a separate communication in the respective areas.
