ITF (Idaho Tennis Foundation)

The Idaho Tennis Foundation promotes the growth of tennis in Idaho by supporting facilities,
skills improvement, and access to competition for adults and youth.
Historically, ITF’s monetary support has focused on youth programs, especially the Tennis Is
Elementary program, which brings after-school tennis lessons to Idaho’s elementary schools.
The TIE program is run by the Idaho Tennis Association, and ITF funds individual scholarships
for elementary schoolers in need.
ITF support is also available to adults who wish to improve their skills by traveling to out-of-state
tournaments, league play, or instructional sessions. ITF’s support is typically monetary. Al-
though no formal application is required to receive support, the ITF Board reviews all requests
based on need and degree of impact.
ITF is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization and contributions may be tax deductible. It is funded
through direct contributions, in-kind donations, running tournaments, and tournament add-ons.
If you, your team, or playing group wish to apply for support, please contact Kyle Jewett at kjewett@idtennis.com for information.

The Idaho Tennis Foundation supports the following

1. Scholarships for Tennis Is Elementary attendees
2. Sectional / National USTA League play for adults
3. Idaho Team Tennis play (youth)
4. The costs of taking junior groups to out of state tournaments /events
5. The costs of taking adult groups out-of-state skills improvement events
